BeIN Sports will broadcast UEFA Women’s Euros 2022, Women’s AFCON and Tour de France Women this summer.
BeIN Media Group has announced a lineup of women’s and co-ed sporting events that will air in the Middle East and North Africa this summer.
beIN is dedicated to expanding coverage of underrepresented sports across its global portfolio through the beINSPIRED initiative. The mission is to raise the profile of historically lesser-known sports and athletes globally, to celebrate the value that all sports, and women’s sport in particular, play in the international sports ecosystem.
BeIN is preparing to showcase European football in the MENA region starting this week with the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. The tournament will be broadcast on beIN Sports Premium 1 & Premium 2 for Arabic, and on beIN Sports English 1 & English 2 for English.
Comprising a total of 31 matches, the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 takes place from July 6-31, with the group stage culminating on July 18.
This summer, as part of our beINSPIRED summer of women’s sport, BeIN will be broadcasting not only the UEFA Women’s Euro but a growing portfolio of women’s sports across tennis, athletics, cycling and water sports.
BeIN Sports will also broadcast the Tour de France Women, the first women’s cycling competition, which will take place from July 24 to 31. Further on, the IAAF World Mixed Athletics Championships in Oregon will be broadcast on beIN Sports in the MENA region from July 15-24. Federations from 200 territories will be represented at the championships, which will be the first to be held in the United States. .
Finally, beIN will also broadcast the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Women’s) this summer in more than 40 territories around the world. Morocco hosts the tournament, which simultaneously serves as the qualifying tournament for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.
