The Kuwait Shooting Sport Club organizes a special day for medical staff

KUWAIT: The Kuwait Shooting Sport Club held a day of entertainment for doctors and medical staff at the Kuwait Field Hospital at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex on Saturday. Medical staff toured the complex and its facilities and fired rounds of fire at the 10-meter air pistol and rifle ranges.

The Secretary General of Kuwait and the Arab Shooting Federations, Obaid Al-Osaimi, praised the efforts of Minister of Health Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr Mustafa Murad and all medical teams in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic over the past two years and their major role in Kuwait’s fight against COVID-19.

Osaimi, who spoke at a reception by Deputy Hospital Director Dr Fawzi Al-Khawari and his delegation, said that “all citizens and residents appreciate the tremendous efforts of the Kuwaiti ministry of Health as well as all health care providers and their role in the fight against the coronavirus in Kuwait. ‘

Meanwhile, Dr Khawari said the visit to the shooting club was the delegation’s first activity after completing the treatment of the last cases of COVID-19 at the Kuwait field hospital, adding that the work in the The establishment lasted two years. He praised the achievements of the Kuwait Shooting Sport Club internationally, including at the Olympic Games, and thanked Osaimi and the KSSC Board of Directors for organizing this visit and the hospitality received by the delegation.
